About RYAA
RYAA is a faith-based youth sports organization that seeks to develop the character, families, and faith of the communities of East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park. We do that by creating programs that allow children to learn and play a sport, while also learning about the Bible, faith in God, and good character. The key to the program is you, a caring adult that is willing to dedicate time and impart wisdom to the youth of our community.
Description
The Picture Day Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Creating a picture day schedule so each team knows when to arrive.
- Communicating with the teams their scheduled times, and how to prepare for picture day.
- Communicating with the picture service provider.
- Resolving picture day problems.
We use a photographer that has already been scheduled, and we have had a good experience with. You will need to coordinate a translator to be on-site during picture day for Spanish speaking parents who have questions.
Requirements
The things you need to be the Picture Day Coordinator in RYAA are:
- A positive attitude when working with parents, coaches and children.
- Good communication and organization skills. Spanish speaking isvery helpful.
Commitment
Estimated Weekly Time Commitment: 1 hour
The bulk of the time will be creating a picture day schedule and communicating that to the teams a few weeks before picture day. You will go through the Division Coordinators, as well as direct email communication. You will need to follow up to make sure the communication went all the way to the parents.
