About RYAA

RYAA is a faith-based youth sports organization that seeks to develop the character, families, and faith of the communities of East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park. We do that by creating programs that allow children to learn and play a sport, while also learning about the Bible, faith in God, and good character. The key to the program is you, a caring adult that is willing to dedicate time and impart wisdom to the youth of our community.

Description

You will help capture the special moments of the soccer season in photos and video. You would try as much as possible to get some photos from each and every team. Photos do not need to be action shots. Photos should include parents , coaches and referees as well.

These photos and videos are displayed on our Web site and at the end-of-season appreciation dinner. They can also be helpful to coaches and team mentors in bonding a team together at their own private gatherings.

Note that we have contracted with a professional photographer to take individual and team photos on picture day, so you will not be responsible for that.

Requirements

To be an effective Photographer/Videographer, you should have:

• Your own digital photography and video equipment
• High speed equipment with powerful zoom lense if you intend to capture action during the game (not required).
• Have a positive attitude when working with parents, coaches and players

Commitment

Estimated Weekly Time Commitment: 2-3 hours

Your time will be flexible. You will be given a game schedule, and you should try to get some photos from each team in the course of the season.
