About RYAA

RYAA is a faith-based youth sports organization that seeks to develop the character, families, and faith of the communities of East Palo Alto and east Menlo Park. We do that by creating programs that allow children to learn and play a sport, while also learning about the Bible, faith in God, and good character. The key to the program is you, a caring adult that is willing to dedicate time and impart wisdom to the youth of our community.

Description

The Equipment Coordinator manages and supplies equipment to the teams, coaches, referees and field coordinators. Most of the equipment is provided to the coaches at the coaches orientation on August 25. However, throughout the season, various equipment and uniform requests come up which you will help with.

We have storage for most of the equipment near our office, so you will not need to have your own storage. Your efforts to keep the storage area neat and organized will be appreciated.

Requirements

The things you need to be the Equipment Coordinator in RYAA are:

  • Good transportation and the ability to purchase equipment through the Internet, and then transport them to the field or storage closet.
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive attitude when working with coaches and other volunteers.

Commitment

Estimated Weekly Time Commitment: 2-3 hours

You will take equipment requests during the week, place orders for the equipment, and then deliver the equipment to the requestors. Equipment purchases will be approved by the Executive Director.
