Foundation for a College Education
Our Mission
Our mission is to increase the number of students of color pursuing a bachelor’s degree by providing the necessary support and services to prepare them for college. FCE targets talented students of color who are from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, those who are the first in their families to attend college, and those with limited higher education experience. Through FCE, students are provided with a free comprehensive program that encourages them to move beyond standard grade-level.
Nuestra misión
Nuestra misión es aumentar el número de estudiantes de color que persiguen una licenciatura proporcionando el apoyo necesario y servicios para prepararlos para el colegio. FCE apunta a estudiantes talentosos de color que son de ingresos bajos, aquellos que son primeros en sus familias en asistir a la universidad, y aquellos con la experiencia de enseñanza superior limitada. A través de FCE, los estudiantes reciben un programa completamente gratis.

Foundation for a College Education's mission is to increase the number of students from underrepresented backgrounds receiving a college degree.
We believe that the most powerful way to create positive change in this world is by educating our youth. They should not be discouraged or daunted to gain access and enter into higher institutions of learning!
We will be having an information session for students in the 9th and 10th grade and their parent/s or guardian/s this month to learn more about the services we offer high-school students in the East Palo Alto/Menlo Park community.
